What makes Chaotic Development different from the competition?
Well, to make this story short, without boring you with details, the simple answer is: Complete Customization, Performance, Reliability and Quality.

Why do you not have technical support open 24/7?
While “24/7 Technical Support” sounds great, in reality it really isn’t. Let’s face the facts, why would a highly trained and motivated technician work a shift at 2 a.m.? At Chaotic Development we believe in offering the customer, quality technical support through senior technicians only. This is why our technical support staff lines are only open 9am-5pm EST.

Why do some systems require up to two weeks to be completed?
Since we do not rely on assembly lines, all of our systems are built from the ground up. We do not have pre-assembled computers; we build each one depending on our client’s specifications. After each one is completed, we carefully test each system through a series of burn-ins and benchmarks to ensure performance is at its peak. This process takes a considerable amount of time compared to other companies that focus getting the order out the door, rather on the quality of the product at time of its departure.

If I choose not to buy a customized system from you, is it possible to buy the parts with the configuration I want?
Yes, besides selling the actual system, we allow customers to purchase individual computer components in our “Chaotic Gear” store. This was put into place, since some users rather upgrade their current system, then actually purchasing an entirely new system. Our feeling though is, we much rather build the system for you, because we can offer you a greater warranty then the manufacturer does, and we can ensure your complete satisfaction.

Why purchase a name brand component then a generic, aren’t all components technically the same?
To be honest, no. Many of our big-name competition use generic or proprietary components, which are slower and more unreliable counterparts of the original. The name might be the same, but the performance isn’t. Because of our strong supplier and vendor relationships we are able to only offer quality computer components from brand name manufactures, such as Asus, EVGA, BFG, Creative, Coolermaster and many more.

Why do your systems cost more then …. ?
We only utilize high quality components; we do not use generic or proprietary parts. We do not outsource our technical support to other countries, therefore our staff costs more. We build each system by hand and we constantly test the finished system to make sure performance is where it is supposed to be.
